ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Grootvlei Climate Smart Horticulture Centre serves as a foundational project to establish a diverse, climate-smart agricultural hub within the Grootvlei community.
This initiative aligns with the Just Energy Transition, focusing on integrating training, job creation, enterprise development, and commercial food production. The project was officially opened by HE Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr. Kgosientsho Ramokgopa and We are currently instructing the first cohort of local trainees in Precision Agriculture techniques, demonstrating the capability of a climate-smart greenhouse to achieve exceptional yield alongside superior product quality.
