ABOUT THE PROJECT
As part of the overall agrohub development at Grootvlei, we will deploy 28ha of greenhouse space using our proprietary multi-zone design.
The project, deployed in phases, will produce a wide range of high quality fresh produce for the South African market, while ensuring long-term gainful employment opportunities in the area. In addition to the greenhouses we will deploy up to 35MWp of photovoltaics to ensure low-carbon operations, and are exploring additional climate mitigation solutions such as on-site carbon capture.
